Roads in Lowland Wales

Design Guide

Client: Welsh Office Highways Directorate

As part of a Term Commission with the Welsh Office Highways Directorate, TACP has produced a Design Guide to assist with the landscaping of roads in Lowland Areas of Wales. This has involved the identification to the principal landscape character areas of lowland Wales and the design issues which relate to them.

The Guide will provide design advice to be used in conjunction with other Government guidance to assist those professionals involved with new highway and improvement schemes.
