A20 L'Occitane Brive - Montauban

Client: Autoroutes du Sud de la France (ASF)

In response to an international competition organised by ASF, TACP teamed up with a French Landscape Architectural practice and produced a series of designs for a 130km stretch of the A20 motorway between Brive and Montauban (north of Toulouse). The complex topography and terrain of the area was a key factor within the design approach. The degree of innovation, environmental compatibility and technical appropriateness were viewed as primary elements to the design solutions.

The 200 entries TACP were shortlisted to one of three successful applicants, thus demonstrating the practice's ability to compete on the international stage.
