Deeside Industrial ParkClient: Welsh Development Agency The reclamation of 330 acres of floodplain within the coastal edge of the Dee Estuary. The site was raised by 2.5 metres with a sand filling technique. TACP evolved the erosion control methods and grass/vegetation establishment to the sand surface devoid of topsoil in saline conditions. 50 acres of balancing lakes were created and major boundary and infrastructure plantings undertaken.
