Cig Mon Environmental Statement

TACP were commissioned in November 1999 to coordinate an Environmental Impact Assessment and prepare an Environmental Statement for the relocation of the Cig Mon abattoir from Llangefni, Anglesey, to Mona Industrial Park. The commission included a detailed appraisal of the key issues relating to the proposed development: waste management, water quality and drainage, noise, traffic and odour pollution. To provide a holistic view of the environmental conditions, ecology and nature conservation, vehicle travellers, geology and soils, socio-economic, landscape effects, land use, pedestrian, cyclist, equestrian and community effects, policies and plans and archaeology were also addressed. TACP co-ordinated and led a team of engineers and environmental consultants and edited the final environmental statement document.
